A special day to recognise millions of people across the world from farmers, roasters, coffee shop owners and enthusiasts who come together to create and serve the coffee in the consumable form.

International Coffee Day promotes coffee as a beverage. Different events are organised across the world to celebrate this special day for coffee lovers.

The first official date was October 1st 2015, as agreed by the International Coffee Organization and was launched at Expo in Milan.
